RIMS is an international risk management society for all who are interested/working in the insurance industry - students and professionals alike. The Houston chapter hosts monthly luncheons which feature informative and riveting presentations over all sectors of the risk management industry.

The Insurance Council of Texas serves as an influential body in the Texas Legislature with regards to State Insurance Law. They also educate insurance professionals about the ever-changing legal landscape of Texas. ICT generously contributes scholarships for five of our members, granting them access to the ICT conference in Austin, TX.

The Houston Marine Insurance Seminar is a mini-conference that takes place every September. It is an ideal place for students to network with insurance professionals and learn about the exciting side of the industry that is marine insurance. This seminar generously grants three scholarships for students, as well as admittance into this exclusive conference.
